摘要 The present invention relates to a functional coating structure for the reduction of wear and friction between two structures relatively moving while contacting with each other, and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the functional coating structure for the reduction of wear and friction between two structures relatively moving while contacting with each other comprises: a soft material coating layer consisting of a soft material having elasticity, and with which the surface of the structure is coated; and a hard material coating layer consisting of a hard material having a hardness which is higher than the hardness of the soft material coating layer, and with which the upper part of the soft material coating layer is coated. The functional separation space for dividing the hard material coating layer into multiple parts having a fixed cross section shape, and arranged in an array form is formed in order to link the hard material coating layer with the soft material coating layer and to elastically deform the hard material coating layer, when the soft material coating layer is elastically deformed from contact between two structures.
