Disclosed are a method, apparatus and communication node for measurement. The measurement method includes: a first communication node transmitting to a second communication node measurement information including a measurement signal type information, wherein the measurement signal type information is used for the second communication node to determine the corresponding signaling type of the measurement signal; and, the first communication node receiving a measurement report transmitted by the second communication node, wherein the measurement report carries measurement results measured by the second communication node according to the measurement information. Embodiments of the present invention enable measurement of a radio link signal according to the received measurement signal type.
