<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including a plurality of post-processing functions which are arranged in a space-saving manner to perform processing on a longitudinal end face parallel to a conveyance direction.SOLUTION: At the start of shifting a sheet P received in a sheet post-processing device 200, rotation of an orthogonal roller pair 205 is started. When a tip of the sheet P reaches a punching position, rotation of a conveyance roller pair 203 is stopped, while continuing shifting operation, and the sheet P is shifted to the orthogonal roller pair 205, to transfer the sheet P from the conveyance roller pair 203 to the orthogonal roller pair 205. The sheet P is conveyed by shifting operation of the conveyance roller pair 203 and rotation of the orthogonal roller pair 205. When a side end of the sheet P reaches the punching position, the shifting operation of the conveyance roller pair 203 and rotation of the orthogonal roller pair 205 are stopped. Alignment to the punching position is completed in both right-angled conveyance directions d1, d2.</p> |
