<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device and a gas ventilation metal fitting that enable an internal pressure measurement test of a cushion part to be easily performed.SOLUTION: An air bag device includes: a cushion part 150 that is inflated and deployed by using gas and has an opening 182 communicating inside and outside with each other; and a gas ventilation metal fitting 180 installed in the opening of the cushion part to cause gas within the cushion part to flow outwardly. The gas ventilation metal fitting comprises: an internal pressure port 186 that includes a cylindrical part 192 communicating with the opening of the cushion part, a base part 194 continuing to the cylindrical part and having a larger diameter than that of the opening and a vent hole 186a penetrating through the cylindrical part and the base part; a washer 188 opposing to the base part of the internal pressure port; and a nut 190 fixed to the cylindrical part of the internal pressure port to nip the cushion part between the base part and the washer. A projection 196 is installed on one of the opposing faces of the base part of the internal pressure port and the washer, and a recess 198 fitted to the projection while sandwiching the cushion part is installed on the other face.</p> |
