PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer device for a vehicular engine capable of suppressing an increase in the size of the engine and of reducing vibration and noises along with the rotation of a balancer gear and a balancer shaft.SOLUTION: A crank gear 19 and a balancer gear 20 are arranged on the further outside of an engine than the outer wall of a cylinder block 1 located on one end side in an axial direction of a crank shaft 6, and the outer periphery of the crank gear 19 and the outer periphery of the balancer gear 20 are encircled by a gear storage part peripheral wall 21 protruded from the outer wall of the cylinder block 1. A water pump housing 15 is formed on the balancer gear 20 at the upper side of the engine integrally with the cylinder block 1. On the further outside of the engine than the axis of a water pump driving shaft 13 and on the further outside of the engine than the axis of a balancer shaft 16, the outer peripheral face of the water pump housing 15 is connected to the gear storage part peripheral wall 21 via a lower side flange part 36. |
