<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic accompaniment device with which, according to the performance level of a user who performs a musical piece, an accompaniment content which is automatically accompanied to one's performance is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A musical piece data for expressing each note in a divided phrase section is stored in a random access memory (RAM) 14, by dividing a melody part and a plurality of accompaniment parts into phrase units. A central processing unit (CPU) 12 guides performance of each note in the phrase section, according to the musical piece data of the melody part, in the musical piece data stored in the RAM 14, and counts the frequency of error for the performance, according to whether performance operation matches the guided note. Each time the performance of the phrase section is finished, the current level LEVEL for expressing performance technique is generated by evaluating user's performance operation from the frequency of errors MISS, counted in the phrase section. An accompaniment portion of a next phrase section is indicated according to the generated current level LEVEL, and the accompaniment portion specified from among the plurality of accompaniment portions automatically accompanies the next phrase section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
