SMARTPHONE TERMINAL WITH LANGUAGE TRANSLATION AND LANGUAGE TRANSLATION SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a smartphone terminal with a translation function and a translation system having the same. The smartphone terminal having a translation function of the present invention comprises: a translation application part operated by being mounted on or downloaded on the smartphone terminal; a user interface part for receiving input from a user; a display part for displaying images; an audio signal outputting part for outputting audio signals; and a terminal control part for controlling audio signals, characters and data communication. The translation application part comprises: a translation database part storing multiple languages in a word or sentence form; an audio signal recognition part for recognizing audio signals; and a translation control part for searching or extracting translation voice and characters corresponding to audio signals or characters inputted by a user from the translation database part and outputting the same into voice or characters. The translation control part is interlocked with the terminal control part, so that it can transmit the translated voice and characters into the target language to a receiver after translating the voice and characters inputted by the user in voice, character and data communication in the terminal control part. Also, it is designed to output translation voice and characters in the target language after translating the voice and character received from the sender. Thus, the present invention provides a translation service based on a database stored in a smartphone, so that the service can be provided regardless of using the internet. Also, the service can be interlocked with smartphone functions such as voice, text and messenger to provide the translation service.
