<p>A cable assembly (100) includes an electric wire (106) and a crimp contact (105) fastened to the longitudinal end (108) thereof. The crimp contact has a central line (160), a first side wall (124), and a second side wall (126), wherein the first side wall and the second side wall are extended from the central line oppositely. The central line is extended to be parallel to the longitudinal axis (190) of the crimp contact. The respective side walls have base sections (132, 142) and leg sections (134, 144). The leg sections are extended from the central line to the longitudinal edges of the leg sections as much as lateral distances. The base sections are extended from the central line to the longitudinal edges of the base sections as much as lateral distances. The lateral distances of the leg sections are longer than the lateral distances of the base sections against the respective first and second side wall. The leg sections of the first and the second side wall are respectively positioned to be opposite to the base sections of the first and the second side wall.</p> |
