摘要 A method for analysis of electrodynamical characteristics of movable objects with irregular shape relates to radio-location and computing and can be used for the determination of effective area of dissipation (EAD) of the target that is a movable object with irregular shape with local dispersion areas (LDA). Is known on basis of solution of the reverse problem of radio dispersion that consists in irradiation of the object under investigation with radar signal, reception of reflected signal, with spectral analysis of the reflected signal, determination of amplitudes and phases of extreme components of spectrum and calculation on the basis of those of the period of rotation of the object and the coordinates of local dissipation areas in the coordinate system related to the object. Additionally time of manifestation and the value of maximal Doppler frequency of signal reflected from the calibration reflector installed beforehand on the object are determined, with calculation on the basis of those of effective dispersion area of local dispersion areas of the object and the effective dispersion area of the object under investigation as a whole. The technical result of the invention is in provision of possibility of measurement of the EAD for local areas of dispersion for the object and increase of accuracy of measurement of the EAD for the object.
