PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective mat dedicated to a guide plate for visually impaired persons in which the satisfactory laying state is obtained by protecting a top face of the guide plate and in which safety of passage is improved in the passing of a pedestrian or the like during curing after laying the guide plate for visually impaired persons or during various work periods with the laying.SOLUTION: A protective mat 1 covers a top face of a guide plate 8 for visually impaired persons while dot-like and/or linear guide protrusions 9 are arrayed on the top face thereof, in a removable manner. On a bottom face of a mat body 2 of a predetermined thickness covering the top face of the laid guide plate 8, recesses 3 are provided which may be fitted with the guide protrusions 9 substantially correspondingly to the protrusions 9, or may be fitted with a protrusion line formed from a plurality of protrusions 9 substantially correspondingly to the array of the guide protrusions 9. On the top face of the mat body 2, protrusions 4 to be stoppers are appropriately provided. Preferably, the protrusions 4 are made substantially corresponding to the guide protrusions 9 of the guide plate 8 or appropriately formed while including at least portions corresponding to the guide protrusions 9. Therefore, durability of the mat body 2 is improved and safe passing on the protective mat 1 is ensured. |
