PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel harvesting tool technique that is simply structured, lightweight, and easily held with one hand, that excels in single-handed operability as well as simply and surely holding mown caulescent plants, and that can harvest by simply removing the caulescent plants that are held.SOLUTION: In using a sickle 1, in the reverse face 20 of the blade 2 facing the ground side and the front face 21 of the blade 2 facing the sky side, there is projectingly installed a holder frame 5 on the side of the front face 21 of the blade 2. The holder frame 5 is set, in a position closer to the back 26 side from around the blade base 22 toward near the point 24 and, in a plane crossing relative to the front face 21 at a prescribed angle α which is 60 to 120° and optimally about 90°. Also, the holder frame 5 is formed with a shape and dimension that can secure a prescribed holding interval 51 relative to the front face 21. |
