The invention relates to a method and an apparatus (50) for providing information for a multimedia content item (10) from a catalog of multimedia content items (10) to a user with the capability of displaying intra-content and inter-content information. A timeline (24) of concepts is generated for the multimedia content item (10) using a concept graph (20) and metadata (14) associated to the multimedia content item (10). An enhanced timeline (44) of concepts for the multimedia content item (10) using the timeline (24) of concepts and an enhanced concept graph (26). The enhanced timeline (44) of concepts is then displayed to a user.
