The sensor (1) has a main reflector (7) having edge region (12) and inner region (10), a sub reflector (17A) connected to the edge region of the main reflector via a radome (20A), an inner space (30) defined by the radome and the main reflector, and a hollow waveguide (3) which is positioned and connected to the main reflector, and has a front end (4) oriented toward the sub reflector for coupling electromagnetic waves to the sub reflector. The radome and the sub reflector are being integral with each other. The radome is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic or high-performance plastic, such as polyether ether ketone (PEEK) or polyether imides (PEI). Independent claims are also included for: (1) a fill level measuring device for determining fill level in container; and (2) a method for measuring fill level in container. |
