PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film in which adhesion between a base layer and an adhesion layer is low, releasability of the film when it is drawn out of a roll-shaped product is favorable and patterns such as creases, so-called zipping, are not formed on the film when the film is drawn out of the roll shape. SOLUTION: The surface protective film includes a base layer, an intermediate layer and an adhesive layer. The base layer is formed of a resin containing a specific ethylenic copolymer resin.
