The present invention relates to a methane reforming catalyst for manufacturing reducing gas from mixed gas with a volume ratio (H_2O+CO_2/CH_4) of 3 or less. The present invention provides the methane reforming catalyst for manufacturing reducing gas which is used for manufacturing reducing gas from mixed gas with a volume ratio (H_2O+CO_2/CH_4) of 3 or less and is supported by nickel, selectively a promoter catalyst, on a substrate, wherein the substance has a spinel structure of MgAl_2O_4 due to the reaction of alumina (Al_2O_3) and magnesia (MgO). Additionally, the present invention provides a manufacturing method for reducing gas using the catalyst and a manufacturing method for the catalyst. |
