Disclosed are an apparatus for selling merchandise for a multi-vending machine, which determines whether a sale is normal by sensing merchandise from a lift during the merchandise sale and induces a user to purchase any other merchandise when the sale is abnormal, and a method thereof. The disclosed apparatus for selling merchandise for a multi-vending machine comprises a merchandise sensor provided on a lift moving up and down for carrying the merchandise to be sold to a merchandise outlet, to sense whether the merchandise exists on the lift; a control unit for determining an abnormal sale state when the merchandise sensor senses merchandise during sale, to control a merchandise guide to allow a user to purchase any other merchandise; and a merchandise guiding unit for outputting a guide voice corresponding to the abnormal sale according to a merchandise guide control generated from the control unit and outputting a guide voice to allow the user to select any other merchandise. |
