PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of expanding a function of a jack such as an earphone jack in comparison with prior arts.SOLUTION: A jack body 1 is covered with a jack cover 2. A plurality of conducting paths 21 are provided in the jack cover 2. A contact point part 21a of the conducting paths 21 are arrayed on the front surface of the jack cover 2 so as to surround a plug insertion hole 20 and faces the front. A communication part 21b extends to the inner surface of the jack cover 2 through the inner surface (inner edge) of the plug insertion hole 20 from the contact point part 21a and comes into contact with terminals 3 retained by the jack cover 2. |
