<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate production apparatus capable of cutting a glass plate more surely along a cut line by applying flexural stress properly to the cut line, and improving yield.SOLUTION: A glass plate production apparatus includes: a belt conveyor having a belt and a driving device for driving the belt, for conveying a glass plate provided with a cut line on one surface side, while supporting the other surface side facing to one surface side by the belt; and cutting means for cutting the glass plate along the cut line by applying flexural stress to the periphery of the cut line on the glass plate provided with the cut line and being conveyed by the belt conveyor.</p> |
