The present invention relates to a strip side guiding apparatus of a descaling type including a strip guide block placed in the vicinity of a rolling mill to guide movement of a strip toward the rolling mill; and a descaling member provided in the guide block to remove the scale accumulated on the guide block. Therefore, the accumulated scale peeled off from the strip can be effectively removed, thus working environments in the vicinity of the rolling mill are improved and preventing the surface of the strip from being damaged. Hence, the quality of a product is ultimately improved. |
