<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device that improves total harmonic distortion in a power supply current.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device includes a rectifier, an LED light emitting unit, a charge/discharge unit, a driving control unit, and a path selecting switch. The LED light emitting unit has a first light emitting group and a second light emitting group each having an LED. The charge/discharge unit charges an electric charge in a charging interval and discharges the electric charge so as to emit the LED light emitting unit in a discharging interval. The driving control unit determines a voltage level of a rectification voltage outputted from the rectifier. When the voltage level of rectification voltage enters the charging interval, the driving control unit controls a path selecting switch, connects the rectifier to the LED light emitting unit, controls the charge/discharge unit, and thereby charges the electric charge to the charge/discharge unit. When the voltage level of rectification voltage enters the discharging interval, the driving control unit controls the path selecting switch, connects the rectifier to a ground voltage, controls the charge/discharge unit, and thereby discharges the electric charge charged to the charge/discharge unit to the LED light emitting unit. The path selecting switch connects the rectifier to the LED light emitting unit in the charging interval and connects the rectifier to the ground voltage in the discharging interval.</p> |
