<p>762,002. Golf bag carriers. JONES, F. W. March 8, 1955 [Jan. 11, 1954], No. 798/54. Class 108(1). An undercarriage for a golf bag carrier comprises a U-shaped frame 1 of channel section which in the wheeling position slidably supports detachable wheels as shown dotted, and when in the collapsed position contains the detached wheels inside the compass of its frame, the tyres being slightly compressed in this latter position. A handle 10 is fitted in the pinch clip 2 and the carrier may be used with the golf bag described in Specification 756,946 [Group XV], which bag is releasably attached by means of a spring clip 13 and hook 17 and has a central compartment to contain the collapsed carrier. The positions of clamp 12 and clip 13 may be varied to balance the cart. A non-rigid bag may be strapped to a frame which is then fastened to the carrier by a clip and hook or by pegs and sockets, and a collapsable handle may be secured to the frame.</p> |
