摘要 With respect to a secondary battery that is provided with a negative electrode which undergoes an alloying reaction and a positive electrode made from lithium transition metal oxide and that outputs a voltage of 4.5V when the state of charge is maximum, the purpose of the present invention is to suppress deterioration of the negative electrode during use of the secondary battery. A control device for a secondary battery is provided with: a battery temperature detecting part that detects the temperature of the secondary battery; a state of charge detecting part that detects the state of charge of the secondary battery; and a control part that controls charging and discharging of the secondary battery, on the basis of detection results of the battery temperature detecting part and the state of charge detecting part, by changing a maximum value and a minimum value of state of charge such that the state of charge of the secondary battery does not deviate from a range preset in accordance with the temperature of the secondary battery, said control part changing the minimum value of the state of charge to 10% when the temperature of the secondary battery is within a range of ordinary temperature and changing the maximum value of the state of charge to 90% when the temperature of the secondary battery is high.
