According to the embodiments, there is provided a digital broadcast receiver including: a video recorder configured to record, among a plurality of broadcast programs, subject programs based on record-designation information, the record-designation information designating (i) a plurality of channels and (ii) a plurality of different time zones; and a recorded-program list generator configured to generate a recorded-program list that only displays the subject programs among the plurality of broadcast programs.
