<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a high purity cyclic polyarylene sulfide. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the cyclic polyarylene sulfide comprises contact-reacting at least a dihalogenated aromatic compound with a sulfidization agent in an organic polar solvent to obtain a reaction mixture, subjecting the reaction mixture to solid-liquid separation at a temperature region below the boiling point of the organic polar solvent to obtain a filtrate, and removing the organic polar solvent from the filtrate to obtain the high purity cyclic polyarylene sulfide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
