摘要 The present invention relates to a hybrid cooling nozzle apparatus which sprays cooling water by selecting a spraying method according to the speed of a cast-piece passing through a segment, and a method for controlling the cooling nozzle apparatus in continuous casting equipment by utilizing the hybrid cooling nozzle apparatus. The hybrid cooling nozzle apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention has a plurality of spray nozzles provided in a segment of the continuous casting equipment and comprises a plurality of hybrid nozzles which sprays cooling water in a water cooling method or mist in a mist method to a cast-piece passing through the segment, at least one speed detection sensor which detects the speed of a cast-piece passing through the segment, a cooling water supplying part which supplies cooling water to the hybrid nozzles, an air supplying part which supplies air to the hybrid nozzles, and a control unit which controls the pressure of cooling water and the flow rate of air supplied to the hybrid nozzles by receiving a speed signal detected with the speed detection sensors, selecting a spraying method for the nozzles on the basis of the speed of the cast-piece received from the speed detection sensors, and controlling the cooling water supplying part and the air supplying unit.
