The present invention relates to continuous casting apparatus and method of continuous casting. The continuous casting apparatus, which produces slab continuously, includes a winch unit which winds up a dummy bar connected to the slab and a support which is arranged in the transport path; and a guide unit which is connected to the support and arranged to be in contact with a side of the dummy bar wound by being coupled to a winch hook of the winch unit, such that abnormal operation of the dummy bar used for casting the slab is prevented or suppressed. |
