PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of appropriately drawing a tray from a device main body.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder includes: a sheet feed tray 20 insertable/extractable into/from a housing 14, and having a bottom plate 75 supporting a recording sheet; and a sheet feed unit 28 feeding the recording sheet. The sheet feed unit 28 includes: an arm 26 rotatably supporting a sheet feed roller 25 that can contact/separate from the bottom plate 75; a shaft 27 provided forward of the sheet feed roller 25, and supporting the arm 26 so that the arm 26 can be rocked in a direction in which the sheet feed roller 25 contacts/separates from the bottom plate 75; and a rocking mechanism 68 rocking the arm 26 when the sheet feed tray 20 is drawn from the housing 14. The sheet feed tray 20 includes a first inclined plate 76 provided on a rear end portion and protruding from the bottom plate 75. The first inclined plate 76 protrudes more upward than a lower end of the arm 26 at the same position in a lateral direction 9, and an inclination angle with respect to a longitudinal direction 8 of a protruding tip end of a front side surface 84 is greater than that with respect to the longitudinal direction 8 of a protruding proximal end thereof. |
