PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of stably keeping the amount of liquid which circulates through a fuel circulation path.SOLUTION: When the amount of liquid which circulates through fuel circulation paths 23, 29, 31, 24, 32 (hereafter called 29) is within a proper range, power generation is controlled in a normal control mode and electric current according to a power generation request is generated in a fuel cell 2. When the amount of liquid exceeds an upper limit of the proper range, power generation is controlled in a liquid amount reduction control mode, and power generation of the fuel cell 2 is suppressed so that electric current generated in the fuel cell 2 can be a switching electric current or lower which is an electric current value which does not increase/decrease the amount of liquid which circulates the fuel circulation path 29. Due to suppression of power generation, the amount of liquid which circulates the fuel circulation path 29 decreases. On the other hand, when the amount of liquid goes below a lower limit of the proper range, power generation is controlled in a liquid amount addition control mode, and power generation of the fuel cell 2 is promoted so that electric current generated in the fuel cell 2 can be the switching electric current or more. Due to promotion of power generation, the amount of liquid which circulates the fuel circulation path 29 increases. |
