PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing an influence of fluctuation of speed of a motor that drives a photoreceptor during image formation, and thereby suppressing color shift.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image carrier; forming means for forming an electrostatic latent image on the image carrier; rotating means for rotating the image carrier; and control means for controlling a position of the image carrier at which the forming means starts the formation of the electrostatic latent image, from a difference between the rotation amount of the rotating means during a predetermined period from a reference timing and the reference rotation amount of the rotating means during the predetermined period. |
