PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing the change of picture quality due to the change of element characteristics in a pixel circuit which supplies drive currents to a light emitting element.SOLUTION: A control part 50 repeats the following operations in order, that is, a gradation display operation of successively selecting each scanning line Ls, and applying a gradation display voltage via a data line Ld to a pixel circuit connected to a selection object to put a light emitting element in a gradation display state, a non-gradation display operation of successively selecting each scanning line Ls, and applying a non-gradation display voltage via the data line Ld to the pixel circuit connected to the selection object to put the light emitting element in a non-gradation display state and a detecting operation of selecting a part of a plurality of scanning lines Ls in the non-gradation display state, and detecting the characteristics of a transistor via the data line Ld with respect to the pixel circuit connected to the selection object. |
