<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate to be used in a method for manufacturing a thin polarizing film having excellent optical characteristics.SOLUTION: The laminate includes: a thermoplastic resin base material 11 made of a polyethylene terephthalate resin having a repeating unit (isophthalic acid unit) expressed by a general formula (I); and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer 12 formed on the thermoplastic resin base material 11. The polyethylene terephthalate resin includes an isophthalic acid unit of 1-7 mol%, with regard to a sum total of whole repeating units.</p> |
