PURPOSE: A tape cutting device for a chip mounter is provided to prevent damage to a cutter by repetitively cutting electronic components remained in a waste tape. CONSTITUTION: A tape cutting device for a chip mounter comprises a cutter unit(100), a transfer unit(200), and a moving unit(300). The cutter unit is arranged on a tape moving route and has a pair of rotary cutters. The rotary cutters form a gap for a tape. The transfer unit moves the cutter unit along the moving route. The moving unit moves one or both cutters so that the gap can be varied. |
