Provided are a hardening-type resin composition for allowing a hardening material having a high glass transition temperature and flame resistance with a high degree of dielectric properties (low dielectric permittivity, dielectric tangent), a bis(meth)acryloyl terminal benzyl ether compound used for the same, and an aromatic bishalomethyl compound which is an intermediate compound thereof. Aromatic bishalomethyl and bisphenolfluorene compounds are reacted so that an aromatic bishalomethyl compound having halomethyl groups on both terminals thereof is obtained as an intermediate compound. Then, the intermediate compound is reacted with (meth)acrylic compounds such as (meth)acrylic acid and (meth) acrylic acid potassium so that a bis(meth)acryloyl terminal benzyl ether compound is obtained as a (meth)acryloyl group having halomethyl groups on both terminals thereof. Moreover, provided is a hardening-type resin composition that contains the bis(meth)acryloyl terminal benzyl ether compound and polymerization initiator (B). |
