摘要 An emergency stop device and an emergency stop method of a fuel cell system are disclosed. The emergency stop device of an emergency stop system comprises: a fuel cell stack; an MBOP for supplying oxygen and hydrogen for producing electricity to the fuel cell stack; and an EBOP connected to the fuel cell stack to convert a direct current into an alternating current. The emergency stop device of an emergency stop system comprises: an EBOP malfunction detector for detecting the malfunction of the EBOP; a first bypass part installed between the fuel cell stack and the MBOP to detour and discharge the oxygen and hydrogen supplied from the MBOP not to be supplied to the fuel cell stack in case of the generation of malfunction signals by the EBOP malfunction detector; a second bypass part installed on an exhaust path at the rear of the fuel cell stack to detour and discharge exhaust gas exhausted from the fuel cell stack in case of the generation of malfunction signals by the EBOP malfunction detector; and a controller for controlling the operation of the first bypass part and the second bypass part if detection signals are transmitted from the EBOP malfunction detector and are certified as malfunction signals.
