RELIQUEFACTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BOIL OFF GAS

An evaporation gas re-liquefaction system and a method thereof are disclosed. The evaporation gas re-liquefaction system of the present invention comprises a compressor for compressing evaporation gas generated in a storage tank arranged in a ship or offshore construction; a heat exchanger for exchanging the heat of the evaporation gas compressed in the compressor with the evaporation gas introduced to the compressor; and an expansion unit in which the compressed evaporation gas exchanged in the heat exchanger is expanded. The compressor is a multiple-stage compressor which executes compression and inter-cooling repeatedly. The compressed evaporation gas is introduced to the heat exchanger by passing through a part of the multiple-stage compressor.
