<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece in which collision of a package mounting the tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece and a vibration arm is prevented, even if an impact is applied to the tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece, and to provide a mounting method of a tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece.SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric vibrator housing a tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece 200 in a package, the tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece comprises: a tuning-fork piezoelectric vibration piece body having a plurality of vibration arms 208; a first short side 204 formed in a direction crossing the extension direction of the vibration arms, and connected with the piezoelectric vibration piece body; a long side 210 formed from the first short side in the extension direction of the vibration arms farther than the tip thereof; and a second short side 206 formed by extending the tip of the long side in a direction crossing the extension direction of the vibration arms at a position father than the tip thereof. Lower surface of the second short side is fixed to the package.</p> |
