<p>Provided is a generic connector connection/release device applicable to portable electronic apparatuses provided with a snap-in structure on the connector side, in particular in which a projecting part and a recessed structure are engaged, and which achieves a retaining effect that can bear approximately at least twice the load of a structure in which a connector is held in place by an internal spring. The main body of the connector is provided with: an insertion part (24) for inserting into the socket; and a mating spring (27, 28) having snap-in parts in two locations, the outer side and the inner side, and which can be snapped into the internal spring. The mating spring is configured such that by inserting the insertion part into the socket, the inner-side snap-in part (24, 26) is elastically deformed due to projecting beyond the projecting part of the internal spring, achieving a mating state after so projecting, and as a release means for the mating state, an operation part (13) for elastically deforming the mating spring is provided to the mating spring such that the inner-side snap-in part projects beyond the projecting part of the internal spring and returns.</p> |
