PURPOSE: A system for retrieving an optimum node in an information communication network and a method therefor are provided to retrieve a layer-classified node for optimally mass multimedia information on the information communication network. CONSTITUTION: A management server(SV) receives log information from a plurality of client network terminals(ST1-C1¯ST4-Cn), writes node list information, calculates learning result information for determining a priority node through a neural network, and transmits node list information and learning result information to the client network terminals connected through an information communication network. The client network terminals(ST1-C1¯ST1-Cn) primarily connect to the management server(SV) for receiving multimedia information of multimedia contents. The client network terminals(ST2-C1¯ST4-Cn) perform a test about other client network terminals by node list information from the management server(SV), and determine a priority according to learning result information of the neural network on the basis of state information received from the other network terminals using the tested result. The client network terminals(ST2-C1¯ST4-Cn) connect to the other client network terminal of the most priority as an upper server, and receive multimedia information from the management server(SV) through the primarily connected client network terminals(ST1-C1¯ST4-Cn).
