摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of improving accuracy for correcting the misalignment of a sheet as compared with a conventional technique.SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus includes: a misalignment amount detection sensor that detects a misalignment amount of the sheet to be transported from a transport reference position; a pair of first rollers; a pair of second rollers arranged downstream of the first paired rollers in a transport direction; an inclination mechanism inclining the first and second paired rollers from basic attitudes, respectively; and a control unit controlling the inclination mechanism. The control unit detects the alignment amount of the sheet by an output from the misalignment amount detection sensor (S201). If the misalignment amount exceeds an allowable range, the control unit executes a first control to calculate an inclination angle &thetas; for inclining the first and second paired rollers on the basis of the misalignment amount so as to obliquely transport the sheet in a direction of correcting the misalignment (S202 to S205). Thereafter, if a tip end of the sheet passes through a nip portion between the second paired rollers, the control unit executes a second control to return the first and second paired rollers to the basic attitudes, respectively (S208).
