<p>An endoscope includes: a distal end rigid member made of a metal and provided on a distal end side of a bending portion, an observation optical portion being fixedly provided in the distal end rigid member; a distal end cover formed of an insulating resin member and fixed to the distal end rigid member in an integrated manner, the distal end cover including a transparent illuminating window portion included in an illumination optical portion and a light-emitting device installing hole; a light-emitting device arranged in the light-emitting device installing hole, the light-emitting device including a light-emitting portion that faces the illuminating window portion included in the distal end cover and is fixed at a predetermined position, and a conductive portion positioned on the illuminating window portion side relative to an opening of the light-emitting device installing hole, the conductive portion being opposed to the opening of the light-emitting device installing hole; a substrate having thermal conductance and combining as a heat dissipating member, the substrate being connected to the conductive portion of the light-emitting device, and a power supply cable that supplies power being connected to the substrate; and a heat dissipation member having a plate shape and thermal conductance, an end side of the heat dissipation member being connected to the substrate and another end side of the heat dissipation member projecting relative to the substrate to dissipate heat conducted to the substrate.</p> |
