Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for estimating a multiple carrier frequency offset in an OFDM communication scheme based LTE-advanced (LTE-A) system. The method for estimating the multiple carrier frequency offset provided in the present invention comprises the steps of: adding received first synchronized signals to generate a received signal; estimating initial carrier frequency offset (CFO) values between a terminal and each of base stations by using the received signal; and repetitively estimating the carrier frequency offset (CFO) between the terminal and each of the base stations by using the initial carrier frequency offset (CFO) values.
