<p>The system (17) has pneumatic expansion units i.e. inflatable bands (18, 19), placed against parts of an air inlet casing so as to eliminate white frosts (15, 16) on an air inlet (3) by mechanical shock. The air inlet comprises a front cone (12) and a direct inlet wheel provided with radial arms (13) that are fixed between an annular external structure (11) and the front cone. Parts of the pneumatic expansion units are arranged against the front cone. Holes are connected with cavities. An independent claim is also included for a method for de-icing an air inlet of a turboshaft engine.</p> |
