PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hands-free speech apparatus, capable of allowing a user to be able to hear the voice from a person talking to even while the user uttering, transmitting the user's voice to the person talking to without attenuating the signal, and reducing the influence of echo transmitted from the user to the person talking to while the user not uttering.SOLUTION: A hands-free speech apparatus includes: a camera (1) for shooting a user's face; a camera image processing part (2) for detecting a motion of user's mouth from the image data shot by the camera; and a signal level adjustment part (3) for adjusting the signal level of a transmission sound signal to be transmitted to a person talking to from the user by adjusting the amplification factor. When the motion of user's mouth is not detected by the camera image processing part (2), the signal level adjustment part (3) sets a value less than 1 for the amplification factor, and when the motion is detected, sets a value 1 or more for the amplification factor for the transmission sound signal. |
