PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing that has good color development of a printing paper when the offset printing is performed and gives good printing density with use of a predetermined ink amount, to provide a printed matter of the same and to provide a determination method.SOLUTION: In the coated paper for printing having a coating layer containing a pigment and an adhesive formed on a base paper, a clear coating layer composed mainly of an adhesive is formed on one side or both sides of the base paper. The coated paper for paper has an air resistance of not less than 1,500 seconds to not more than 10,000 seconds and an ink amount of indigo ink on the paper surface is not more than 1.0 g/mafter printing by an offset rotary printer with use of an offset printing ink at a printing speed of 270 m/min so as to have an inking density of 1.65 for indigo on the solid portion.
