PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fuel consumption of a combine harvester by reducing a drive load of a thresher.SOLUTION: A thresher (1) of a combine harvester includes a second processing chamber (12) where a second processing cylinder (11) is journaled to a lateral side of a threshing chamber (3) having a threshing cylinder (4) journaled thereto. The thresher drives a threshing cylinder (4) by power from an engine, and drives the second processing cylinder (11) by a motor (72). The second processing cylinder (11) can be driven and stopped independently from the threshing cylinder (4). The motor (72) is started based on a detection result by a workload sensor provided in a machine body of the combine harvester. An output rotary speed of the motor (72) is variably controlled based on the magnitude of a load detected by reaping/threshing load detection means provided on the machine body of the combine harvester. |
