This light emitting apparatus is provided with: a base body (21) having translucency; an LED (22) that is disposed on the base body (21); a sealing member (23) that seals the LED (22), said sealing member (23) containing a first wavelength conversion material that converts the wavelength of light emitted from the LED (22); and a wavelength conversion section (24), which is provided at a position facing the sealing member (23), said position being on the base body (21) rear surface on the reverse side of the main surface having the LED (22) disposed thereon, and which contains a second wavelength conversion material that converts the wavelength of light, which has been emitted from the LED (22), and which has passed through the base body (21). A length (d2) of the wavelength conversion section (24), said length being in the wavelength conversion section width direction orthogonal to the base body (21) thickness direction, is longer than a length (d1) of the sealing member (23), said length being in the width direction of the sealing member. |
