PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face clamp chuck manufacturable without need for retooling even if a workpiece diameter is changed, without complicating a structure, and without causing a cost increase.SOLUTION: The face clamp chuck 8 comprises a chuck claw installing member 21 and a chuck claw 20. The chuck claw installing member 21 freely advances-retreats in the axial direction of a main spindle of a machine tool, and rotates within a constant angle range around the rotational center O2 parallel to the main spindle in response to its advance-retreat. The chuck claw 20 is installed on the tip of the chuck claw installing member 21, and is a shape of extending in the direction for separating from the rotational center O2 of the chuck claw installing member 21, and its tip turns inside-outside to the main spindle by autorotation of the chuck claw installing member 21. The chuck claw 20 is installed so that a relative position in the rotational direction is freely changed to the chuck claw installing member 21. |
