PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately correct bending of a sheet depending on a difference in a transport distance in a paper feeder.SOLUTION: A control unit 130 of a first large-capacity paper feeder 100A exerts a first correction control for correcting bending of a sheet P by controlling a first transport unit 110 to form a loop on a sheet P between the sheet P and a registration roller, and exerts a second correction control for correcting the bending of the sheet P by controlling a second transport unit 120 to form a loop on the sheet P between the sheet P and the registration roller. In this case, the control unit 130 exerts a control so that correction force for correcting the sheet P by the second correction control is higher than that for correcting the sheet P by the first correction control.
