<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device that suppresses light leak from a portion not expected to emit light, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A shift lever device includes: a shift lever; an indicator panel having an operation groove through which a middle part of the shift lever penetrates and a display region for displaying shift information; support means for supporting the indicator panel on a vehicle body side; and a light source for emitting light toward the indicator panel from the inner side thereof. Further, the indicator panel includes: a transmission portion for transmitting the light from the light source to the display region; a light blocking portion for blocking light from the light source; and an attenuation portion for attenuating at least a part of light from the light source traveling in directions other than toward the transmission portion.</p> |
