Artillery ammunition with sliding structure

The ammunition has a sliding structure including a structural casing (5) secured to a front part (2), and a body (6) attached to a rear part (3). The body is slidable in the structural casing between a retracted position for the firing of the ammunition, and an extended position for operation of a functional object i.e. warhead after the firing of the ammunition. The sliding structure includes mechanical stop units (15) between the casing and the body, for supporting longitudinal and angular mechanical constraints exerted by the front part on the casing during the shooting of the ammunition.
